Apropos of nothing, whenever I read about the hijinks of the high-tech world - microdosing, orgies, you know the drill - my initial reaction is "if you say so" even when I have no reason to believe it's not true.
Such outré behavior isn't quite as uncommon as some may believe; it's not like the folks at Google are Phoenicians circumnavigating Africa. I suppose I hold the belief that anyone who has that kind of money and influence wouldn't be so trite.
Those who would find all this appealing in the abstract should page through a swingers website or watch people macrodosing at a Phish concert. (Looking at photos of Sam Bankman-Fried and his alleged polyamorous paramours certainly shifts the perspective.) To each his own. Or her.
